The City of Tampa has partnered with Employee Family Protection since 2012 to offer elective benefits.
Employee Family Protection Inc, offers employees year-round support.
Our Benefit Service Center is available year-round with support for numerous languages including English, Spanish, Mandarin, and French. Our priority is to help explain your benefit options and help you make decisions that best meet your individual and family's needs. We are here to walk you through your enrollment decisions over the phone or onsite, assist with password resets, and help submit elections on your behalf if requested. You may elect or waive benefits by speaking with an EFP Benefit Counselor. They are available Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm by calling
844-231-1623.
During each annual enrollment period, EFP’s knowledgeable and licensed Benefit Counselors will be available onsite and over the phone via their Benefit Service Center to answer any questions you may have regarding your benefit plan offerings and help you choose benefits that best meet the needs of you and your family.

Pays a lump sum payment for diagnosed covered illnesses.
Cancer Guardian
Provides a dedicated support system if you are diagnosed with cancer as well as screening services to help you understand your genetic risks.
Legal Services
Offers a large network of providers for many legal services including wills, divorce, and more.
Pet Insurance
Pet protection for a wide range of veterinary services including accidents, illnesses, and more.
